The Village Lodge is situated in the centre of the quaint Storms River Village on the edge of the Tsitsikamma Forest, with its gate opening onto the original old Cape Road. This is a unique concept for tourists with delightful double & family rooms, self catering unit and upmarket hikers accommodation; all rooms are en suite. Families, groups and hikers are welcome. The Lodge is first choice for Otter Trail Hikers both pre and post trail.
Outside is the covered, candle-lit BBQ area (Lapa) with a large BBQ fireplace, own fully equipped cooking and scullery area, comfortable couches and chairs. The Lapa is very popular with guests for relaxation and al fresco self catering in the evening.

Spacious gardens offer secure parking, and the Lodge is ideally situated for hiking the popular Otter Trail. Small group tours are also welcome.
The Village Lodge is eco-friendly and has its own borehole of crystal clear water.
Breakfast is included in all rates except Self-Catering.

Choose hiking, walking or cycling Trails through the Tsitsikamma Forest – or birding tours if that is your passion. At Storms River Mouth, walk to the suspension bridge and / or to the lookout deck, scramble along the rocky Coastline towards The Waterfall, kayaking or kloofing in the sea, swimming at the beach below the restaurant or return to the Village and just “chill out” in the beautiful gardens of the Lodge.
